ZoneEdit: The Response
Well, it's official. I received an email 5 minutes ago from ZoneEdit's customer support. Bit late...but never mind (the site came back on about 36 hours ago?)
Unfortunately, we experienced a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack, which caused a loss of service to these two nameservers. All our nameserves are operational but ns14.zoneedit.com. We expect it to be operational in a few hours. Your domain should be resolving now.
Well, there's confirmation that for the second month in a row, they have had some kind of attack. Who would want to attack them, I don't know. This though, might make people reconsider using their service - for the piece of mind of my customers I've already started moving!
Sorry ZoneEdit...
